To Poznan Internet eXchange joined leading polish alternative operator – Netia S.A.

On May 22.05.2015 to driven by Horizon Internet Technologies Internet exchange point PIX joined leading polish alternative operator - Netia S.A.
Launched interconnection has 10G capacity with fast upgrade option to 40Gbps. Netia's network Internet resources are available on the basis of open peering with operators present at PIX.
Project PIX is leaded by internet services provider in Poznan - company Horizon Internet Technologies. Currently in PIX more than 100 companies exchange their traffic reaching in peak about 45Gbps of native traffic in peering. There are also installed cache servers of companies Google and Akamai, that in current configuration are able to serve more than 40Gbps of traffic.
Currently at PIX there are also leaded works related to launch of interconnect point with the network of Google company in the node located in LIM building in Warsaw.
