Poznan Internet eXchange – next participants of IP traffic exchange

Poznan Internet eXchange is the point of Internet traffic exchange where

currently about 100 content providers and access to

Internet are present . They are both big content providers (Allegro ,

Onet , TVP ) as also access network operators ( GTS Exatel , CT) and a

large group local Internet service providers from across the Poland .

Participation in the project involves the symbolic 10GE access port

costs ​​- 1 PLN net per month and gives PIX participants

a quick and inexpensive access to more than 40 % of the Polish Internet

resources. With the running web content delivery systems

of Google and Akamai ISPs receive substantial relief on major access

links to the global Internet .
